I heard Star Wars when it was first broadcast on NPR. Had the tape recorder next to the stereo in my bedroom so I could play that cassette over and over. Great stuff. Thanks!
Sounds like me. I used to take the tape recorder in the cinema with raiders of the lost ark and empire strikes back all those years ago 🙂
I found that drive-in theatres were the best for this. You got the best audio quality and no background noise
