Just as an afterthought or two: The songs – although quite nostalgic and in exceptionally good sound-quality – are rather insignificant, particularly if they are promoted as “won the war”. The only really war song with the potential to motivate the troops may be the Soviet “Katyusha” aka “Towards the Unknown”, which melody everyone may have heard some time. One of the most intriguing versions I ever heard of “Katyusha” is the one from the anime “Girls and Panzer”, unfortunately not available here. The soundtrack of “Girls and Panzer” has collected some of the most iconic war songs (among some oddities), so try it, if you are interested in WWII music of that time. No, honestly.
