As you know a number of major file hosts have either shut down, closed part of their service, changed the way they operate or banned all US IP addresses. The rest applied more strict rules and now shut down any account on first abuse. That is why there’ll be seldom new releases, while the old ones are not gonna to be reuploaded for now. Let’s be patient and wait while dust settles down.
UPD. For now I start working with uploaded.to (they ban all US IPs) and turbobit.net. These filehostings don’t shut down whole accounts for abuses, like filepost do, and work just fine. Also they have low cost accounts for a few days or a week. And I’m gonna to reupload popular OSTs to those filehostings over time.

Glad to hear from you about this major crisis. Oh, it’s OK! i can understand. I’m your loyal fan DA MAN!! Even all the way back from Rapidshare era. Then you moved to ma-g.com, until now & beyond. What really matters is that you still exist & i can tell you how amazing this site is & many will agree with me. I’m sure the storm will pass away & the new posts will be back to normal as well as the old posts will be reuploaded (Yay!!!). I will go with you through this crisis, this is what i, at least, can do as your fan.
May Anonymous the hacker, succeed in his crusade against the tyranny of those federal bitches & all the collaborators!!!
I’ll second Shawn on that. They really have lost the plot on that whole freedoms thing the US is always boasting about. Elections this year, I believe, so if you want change in the USA then vote the beggars out of business. Wish I could vote them out myself, but I’d have to be American to do that.
Please post some new stuff though. There are a number of upcoming soundtracks that I was looking forward to, and your site is the only source I have left for them. I’d love to buy them, but soundtracks are just not important to local shops, so they go for POPular music instead…
ok, though I’m very sad about latest development I see that the situation is not easy. Please let us know in case you change server or address. You’re the best!
@Yee Snarky : Same here man, local music stores won’t sell soundtracks or score unless they’re such a big deal. But mostly, only 3-5% of the latest soundtracks made it to the shelves. It’s impossible to find expanded or complete score version or even classic score, like we have here, anywhere in my country. It’s very easy to find Katy Perry, Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, etc. But soundtracks? Not at all.
like i said before just use these file sharing places http://www.filejungle.com or http://www.fileserve.com they are both way better then file sonic and are out of the country. and theres others if you want more file sharing places
We just entered the downloadoomsday era, my fellow netizen! The closing down of Megaupload last week is a prelude to the on-line judgment day on the epic proportion. Dark times may lie ahead! But endure this ordeal, we must! It’s the time for all netizens to stand firm & stand tall on his ground & repel the invading force of federal fascism!
It’ll be better with Braveheart speech like:” Do you want them to take your freedom!!??” LOL.
Fingers crossed things work out. Your site is great and I visit it everyday. If you have to close and re-open the site how would we know? I can’t lose you.
“I can’t lose you?” Really, Ryan? What is this, Love Actually?
Joshin’. 😉
Haha I understand Ryan’s feelings. I love this site too. Let’s hope the storm settles.
HaHa!!!!
As a soundtrack lover who finds it difficult to get their hands on so many of them, this site is heaven. I would seriously be gutted if it went.
“I can’t live, if living is without you. I can’t live, i can’t live anymore”
🙂
Use Rapidshare or Mediafire.
You know, normally I’d be against file sharing if it meant getting files you could go and buy. But so many scores and sounctracks are either impossible to find or unreleased that I have no compunction about getting them this way. I’d have been happy to pay for many I have, but never had the opportunity. When I could, I did. Paid $75 for the complete Godzilla (1998) score, and was happy to.
I love this site too! I live in australia and most music shops require deposits and the cost of getting a soundtrack is almost $50 aud. Also most don’t order from america so you can’t get varese sarabande titles. We have jb hifi stores that usually sell music froms or various artists soundtracks but not original scores. I don’t have access to credit cards so online ordering is no good for me. Please don’t shut down!
Definitely don’t shut down before youve managed to locate and post the recent 2-disc edition of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I’m desperate for it.
agree with Gabriel. pls use rapidshare or mediafire. thanks in advance
i cannot download anything using filepost
You have a great website here, thank you for all the uploads and great stuff! Thanks again for sticking with us!
Thank You for Your work! 🙂
I recommend the “depositfiles” and “Yandex” (*.com – eng; *.ru – russian) are good sites as I experienced. YAndex offers 10 GB for every “free account” and NO download restrictions. Everbody could do multiply downloads and uploads (for example maybe 2 up and 2 down at same time could works if they are not too big, but its up to your net connection /speed).
The depositefile hold files 90 days after the last download, yandex good, but I do not know the details about that.
Only ul.to now. DF/Yandex banned accounts for warez
I’d like to share a suggestion.
I think the “data” pages of soundtrack albums should contans more date.
I mean like this one.
GENRE: Score
DATE: 2011
COUNTRY: USA
AUDIO CODEC: MP3
QUALITY: 320 kbps
TRACKS: 14
PLAYTIME: 42:32
SIZE: 123456789 MB
So plus info the “number of tracks (Tracks)” and the size of the uploaded file (Size).
I know if I scroll down I see the full tracklist but “for the record” easier to watch that small info “begining of the site” with the most important info about the album, than find out with open the link.
(This was “The Way Back” soundtrack album data’s.)
