This score compared to the previous Transformers reeks of Michael Bay’s repulsive masterbatory narcissistic self pleasuring. I love the music for Transformers 1,2,3 but this one sounds so weak and doesn’t have any strong themes running through it. If the music is any indication of the film, I’m worried. I hope I’m wrong.

Too bad Transformers 1 soundtrack is so hard to get on CD. I never found out why it was pulled back.

I agree with Jack. While sitting through the film I kept wondering where the great themes from the first three film were. Or even new themes. There’s really nothing.

I don’t know if I’d blame it on Michael Bay, however, because Hans Zimmer is kinda doing the same thing. I don’t think he’s written a good theme since “Pirates”. There’s really nothing of note on the Dark Knight Trilogy and “Man of Steel” is just so much noise masquerading as music. Certainly nowhere near the level of Williams’ efforts.
