Thanks. I didn’t know the album had been remastered.
However it must be noted this is the rock album and not the movie soundtrack.
As a distinctive sign, not counting some arrangements differences, Empty Spaces has different lyrics in the movie (same as the public performance posted here in 2015) and the second occurence of In the Flesh opens on organs (and has a different tempo).
I had hoped to be able to replace my old tape (recorded in the theatre something like 25 years ago) which had finally died a few years ago, but not this time…
Thanks. Also, thanks to Sigraine for his info on this. Great to hear from a true Floyd fan. But surely you could have gotten the OST on official CD by now?
Has it been released on CD ?
Guys. (and by that I mean, Admins…) I have it taken from the Blu-ray. please contact me.
Thanks
Thanks 🙂
Thanks.
Cheers!
Any update on getting the actual film version? I see the comment from That annoying guy (again) saying that he has it from the Blu-Ray.
Where Is LP Vinyl Version From Pink Floyd: The Film (The Wall Movie) Can’t You Uploaded mega-nz Or mediafire.com
A corresponding OST album (listed on the movie poster) from Columbia Records was never released.
The only way to get this complete soundtrack is an audio rip.
Another album “Spare Bricks” with outtakes from the original album and outtakes from the film was planned for release in 1982 but that never materialized. This included several re-recorded songs with Michael Kamen orchestrations. For more info, go to wikipedia and search for “Pink Floyd the final cut” and look at the “background” section.
There are several “recreated” versions of “Spare Bricks” available for download if you search that title.
Sharing a link to download a rip (320) of the full soundtrack. Comments suggest PAL source.

I have the double album vinyl Sountrack from the movie. It’s titled “The FIlm” with gatefold artwork and incidental music and dialog cues. Been such a long time since ive played it. Trying to find a digitized version of it but to no luck.
