I’ve been eagerly awaiting what your crew will be presenting today, – forgotten film scores and current releases. At this time of a day my most wonderful curiosity leads me to the PC keyboard…
“The Strange One” is no easy, superficial consumer-movie. Kenyon Hopkins OST has more edges, changes-of-direction and stress than in his other works for film. The 50s were groundbreaking in various genres, but today most connect this decade with candy-coloured nostalgia only. I just wish that today, over 70 years later, producers had the guts to realise more moving, artsy, brave, elaborate and uncomfortable movies – but 2020s cinema is conformist. An effin shame. Thanks for sharing another Kenyon Hopkins.

Kenyon is so overlooked and underappreciated. May his great music be rediscovered more and more.
