Unfortunately the WAV files have the exact same compression as the old MP3 rip (see the spectrogram for comparison). So is the CD in lossy quality, or did someone just convert the MP3 files to WAV and call it a day? The latter seems more likely otherwise the old rip would be even more compressed.
