too bad they didn’t include the singing scene of little Vito Andolini in his quarantine room at Ellis Island and which goes directly to the baptism of little son Corleone. They could have done it without problem….this will surely give rise to a new reissue.

Why do you say this? Surely this is part of the dialogue of the film rather than music or something that would have been recorded by Rota/Coppola – which explains it absence. I doubt very much LLL would reissue this just for you!
The part where little Vito sings was recorded live, not in a studio, which is why they didn’t release it.
I say this quite simply because it is not a dialogue, but a very old Sicilian song ‘Lu sciccareddu’ which begins acapella with the voice of little Vito and continues in a fade-out, continuing in music with the organ and the hearts in the church, the music was therefore orchestrated by Nino Rota, because this folk song is of Sicilian origin but not only that, since I knew it when I was a child in Corsica but in another version, it is absolutely not a religious song and has certainly never been sung in a Christian church “apart from in the film”. This is why this musical sequence should have been integrated into this edition in the same way it was integrated into the film. A very strong symbolic aspect would have added something more to the whole, but that’s my opinion.
Is there any chance of getting scans for this? I don’t generally request scans, but since The Godfather 50th Anniversary has them, it would be nice if this did as well.
