Thank you for this! I’m a big fan of this score and Tiomkin in general. Disc 1 of this is the original LP (re-released on CD by Varese decades ago) and disc 2 is the LP “More Music from The Fall of the Roman Empire” which was released after the initial soundtrack album. It’s great to have them remastered and in FLAC-24bit. FYI, the concept of “More Music” albums was prevalent in the 50s and 60s. Spartacus, for example, was supposed to get a “More Music” album, and it was even mastered (in stereo, no less), but the release was cancelled. Disc 1 of the six-disc Spartacus set available on this site contains the contents of the original LP and the unreleased “More Music” album, with the tracks re-arranged to reflect their order in the film.
FYI, the track titles on disc two are incorrect (the titles are associated with the wrong tracks), and there seems to be a track missing from the actual album. Also, many of the tracks have “invalid encoding” appended to the title. Finally, there is a long track at the end which seems to be the whole disc in one track. The good news is that disc one is fine, and the second disc is available here in mp3 320, so I would advise downloading both and replacing the second disc with this: https://download-soundtracks.com/movie_soundtracks/the-fall-of-the-roman-empire-soundtrack-by-dimitri-tiomkin/
