Thanks Admin – but these “denoised” editions sound awful – the originals have full frequency, whereas these have really obvious, heavy-handed amateurish noise reduction that makes them sound worse. As Nitzsche died in 2000, it’s misleading to suggest this was in some way composer-approved.
You’re welcome to your own opinions. However, saying these sound “awful” is a bit of a stretch. They aren’t meant to be better than the original “frequency” levels of the original tracks. Also, you have no idea what you’re talking about in regard to “amateurish” work. What is it with all the negativity anyway? It’s a damn alternation. The only thing misleading here is you. You talk as if nobody else in the universe makes fan albums/edits of scores, so, again, you’re misleading yourself. And where was this suggested that I had the late composer approve this? What are you talking about? Oh, I know, you’re talking rubbish!
Ref SOUNTRACKMAN and THE HORROR VOID: It can’t be denied, that the “denoised” version is a bit muffled, yet the high pitch tones are overly clear, in short: Yes, “denoised” goes for the prize of frequenzy-range. On the other hand, the over-all quality is not bad, particularly when we consider the age of this recording, it does make sense. THE HORROR VOID: The impression of this denoised version being official is understandable as the entry is “Denoised Edition by Jack Nietzsche”, so no need to get unfriendly about justified opinions. Thanks for sharing.

Hello what is a “denoised” edition exactly ?
A welcome soundtrack but the noise reduction is pretty severe and no real improvement on my old (1991!) CD.
