Thanks for posting but it’s very bland. Thomas Newman is not right for Bond

SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion), so name should be uppercase at all times.

Thanks for this OST. Some tracks I could live without, (tracks 2 & 3), but on the whole it isn’t too bad. Tracks 1 and 26 are the best. In fact track 1 reminds me a bit of the From Russia With Love soundtrack piece, ‘James Bond With Bongos’, I’d quote a track number, but it varies from album to album. The whole bongo thing is similar. ‘James Bond With Bongos’ is actually one of my most favorite pieces.

Cudos to Thomas Newman for a job that is better than that horrible theme. Still and all, I do not know why they are so shy to use the Dr.No. Theme (aka The James Bond Theme) in the incidental music these days. It is after all the whole point of the music to give the character his musical voice. The musical version of his “Bond, James Bond” if you will.

Thanks for posting this OST. Despite the ghastly Title Theme I will be buying this when and if it eventually shows up in my local shop.
