ps. Just out of interest, where was this remastered from? I only ask, as it seems to be worse quality than the official release upon direct comparison.
Cheers Fred “Worse” is not a particularly suitable word. However, the materials are from an archive which I had to rework to get a cleaner sound with much less noise and distortion. And today it’s the best we can find 🙂
I have to agree with Fred though – the original ’91 Milan CD sounds better than the ‘remastered’ version. There’s no noise or distortion on the original CD.
Dear Soundtrackman I know but as I said earlier, the Milan version is a good quality, but I was only talking about the archives. That is to say the versions that do not exist in thie initial edition.

I was only wondering. It wasn’t meant as a disparaging remark, just a statement of fact. I used to love ‘Shattered’, so any music of whatever quality that’s not on the official release is welcomed by me for this or any other soundtrack. So, thank you again for your efforts & keep up the good work!
Well said Fred – 3HIRDEYE, no offence intended if any was taken. Maybe we’ll see Varèse release an expanded version one day as they’re currently releasing lots of Silvestri!

Would it be possible to have the restored version of this prior to the remastering part? So just no EQ, reverb (or anything else) on it?

With pleasure Laurent, there will be others in the future. Stay tuned. Cheers 🙂
Thanks!
Gracias por compartirla.
Small correction admin, restoration and remastering was done by myself and not by Alan Silvestri 🙂
Cheers !!!
Cheers (+3hirdEye)

Dear Fred
Don’t worry, I didn’t take your comment as something derogatory. It was a pleasure talking with you.
Thx
