“Rebel Moon” is a (half-assed) mixture of Dune, Barsoom and Riddick, and it wouldn’t hurt if the OST would be a bit more versatile, too. OK, there are a couple of ethereal songs and even a piece that sounds like ripped from a medivial-themed fantasy game – but the rest is the usual synthetic pseudo-orchestral bombast. That’s ai-supported noise, not music imo. Well, it fits the shallow CG-overloaded mish-mash of the video, though. Just not my kind of stuff.
