Thank you very much
This is wonderful!… Thanks a lot!
This looks great. I’m a great fan of this score. (In fact, I’ve reconstructed this score myself from the expanded CD release, and I have two other CDs of this score as well.) But I’m surprised this has been upped in rather disappointing 128 kbs. Something THIS great – truly, it’s one of the very best Bond scores, so well-crafted – deserves 320 kbs. It would be great if you could upload it in 320 kbs, but I’ll give this a try, all the same. Your edits look great.
Toooooooo bad!
All John Barry Bond’s scores deserve better than 128Kbits/s ;(
FLAC is the best but I would be happy with 320Kbits/s, more compression make my ears bleeding, really.
Thanks anyway
This is the first non-John Barry James Bond score and it is admittedly a corker. Interesting fact… I the movie Goldfinger James Bond makes a comment that was taken totally out of context by most people, that being that he said “That would be like listening to the Beatles without ear-muffs”. Most people took this to be a slight against the Beatles, but was in fact a reference to the fact that at that time whenever the Beatles played at any venue, they might just as well have not bothered playing anything as the crowds of screaming girls was deafening, and it is this that Bond is commenting on. The dialogue was a bit clumsy. So when the chance came the producers wanted to hire the Beatles to do a theme for a Bond film, but alas, they had broken up just a year earlier. So they settled for the Fifth Beatle, namely George Martin, and managed to score Paul McCartney and his new group Wings for the title. George did an excellent job, and to date this is the best selling of all the James Bond soundtracks. Is he better than John Barry, well no he isn’t, but he’s the next best thing. I am not sure what happened to Barry, or why he did not do this score, nor why he seemed to lose his mojo for a while (during that period his scores all started to sound much the same as each other, as if he was merely phoning it in. But he eventually came back with a bang on The Living Daylights, even if the Title themes were starting to go downhill from there.) Anyway Thanks for posting this, and yes I agree that I would have preferred 320Kbps for all the music I get from here, but I understand that Admin can only post the quality that he is give from source.
Thank you, but try to repost 320… I love this score!
When will the LaLa Land expanded score be posted please. Love your work
Hi Admin,
Is it possible to add a FLAC version ? Thank you in advance,
Best Regards
