Thank you Don! I am curious – what label is this? I can’t find this release on Discogs. Is it fan-made?
You won’t find this as a regular issued score. It a combination of tracks from the Kamen 2011 issue and from the 2006 2 cd Mancini/Kamen issue.
I mistakenly noted Kamen’s release as 2011 when I meant 2022.
You are 100% Wrong Intrada Records has a Very Brand New 53 Track of Just Henry Mancini score to this awful film, Lifeforce!
But are you aware that the BSX and Intrada have the same music, except the manner in which Intrada compiled the tracks. The difference between the two issues is the addition of the bonus tracks on the Intrada, which really does not add anything unique. And the BSX added several Kaman scores. And both issue included the original releases which ran under 40 minues. If you should decide to download a sound editor, you will soon find that that is exactly as I stated. So, it would seem that you are the one wrong. Get a NCH wavpad sound editor and check if I have told you correctly. And you can do work on those tracks. Like editing the amount of silence at front and rear of each track. And even increasing the low volume parts within a tracks. And some tracks really need some improvement as to descending from a mountain into a valley and vice versa.
Intrada have only recently released the complete 2 cd score to Henry Mancini’s Lifeforce as well as the Score by Michael Kamen as a single cd. I have them both.
Any chance of the 2-CD Mancini-only Intrada release? It’s the complement to the Kamen-only disc already available here.
Any chance you’ll be getting the new expanded score for this that Intrada released several weeks ago?
I ordered the 2022 Mancini release and it’s supposed to be enroute. When I get it, I will share flac files. However, I have no scanner, so there won’t be covers except what I found elsewhere. Unless of course, someone else submits the score ahead of me.
