To cinephile friends across the Atlantic and elsewhere. “The Goat” is an extremely funny film that tells the story of the daughter of a wealthy French industrialist who is kidnapped by a gang during her vacation in Venezuela. it turns out that this girl has no luck in her life, the slightest banana peel on a road and it’s for her!

The father therefore decides to hire a professional private detective to find her, without success….. the manager of the company suddenly has an idea! Have the private detective accompanied by a man as unlucky as her, so that bad luck becomes a chance to find her daughter.

The whole film takes place in burlesque situations, as improbable as they are hilarious, until, aided by good luck and bad luck, by an improbable set of circumstances, the unlucky one finds the unlucky one by chance, both of them having banging your head in the same places and ending up in the same hospital in an Ecuadorian jungle deep in the bush.

The final scene of the film where the private detective finally believes he has found the girl thanks to his unlucky companion and no luck, he finds himself with two unlucky people to bring back to Paris. The film’s music is composed by Vladimir Cosma and is excellent in it.
