Every version of Krull on here is either some weird format or low quality. Considering this is arguably James Horner’s masterpiece, why can’t we get this in mp3 320 or flac?

That very CD you refer is posted on this site. It is the double CD version with 11 tracks on CD 1 and 12 tracks on CD 2.
I seriously doubt the fringe benefits is really worth the money. The normal bitrate for wav is 1411 kbs and the bitrate of the files is approximately half at 705 kbs. Undoubtedly better than any mp3 rating.
Over the years I have collected the released from La La Land, Super Tracks and SCSE Limited Edition (Single Disc Special Collector’s Special Edition). Krull has been one of my favorites both as film score and film.
I wish a more compete soundtrack would be presented for another of Horner’s great compositions. Something Wicked This Way Comes.
I also have the LLL double CD and the SCSE Gold Disc (number 750 of 750!) and the LLL version is the best version I’ve heard. My point was, if it’s JH’s masterpiece, and Gary Seven comes on here to whinge about the copies available on here, he should BUY a copy that remunerates the label and the estate of the late Horner, especially as it’s in print, available and not hard to find.
Correction: There is now an mp3 320 version of Krull on here, but this one has a third disc that the other does not.
