Would you by any chance be able to upload John Scott’s “Winter People/A Prayer for the Dying (unused Score)? I’m really curious in listening this Prayer for the dying unused score, because I read that Mike Hodges (Get Carter) that made this movie had some kind of beef with Metro Goldwyn Mayer on the soundtrack (finally the Bill Conti soundtrack was chosen by Metro G)… They made a more melancholic soundtrack to make Mikey Rourke’s character softer and more likable to the public. Mike Hodges was furious and asked on numerous occasions to Metro G to dissociate his name from the movie for that reason plus cutting out crucial scenes….taking out all “poetry and subtlety to the movie”. As for the Writer Jack Higgins he claims this film is the best adaptation to one of his novels ever. Mike Hodges wanted more tension and suspense in the score. Can’t wait to get my teeth into this one. Thanks admin. Thanks to all….Man I love this site….Peace.
