I don’t whether it’s good or bad that it leaked two days ago, but for sure I’m going to listen to it. Alexandre Desplat is a great music composer! Thank you
I can’t wait for movie, but for sure I’m going to listen this.
I can’t believe that the first part to the last movie is only days away. I’m going to listen to this as I read the rest of Deathly Hallows tonight
Nicholas Hooper´s score for 5th and 6th film remains unsurpassed. Period.
Hooper was (and he is) better
i love harry potter and i have new thetime in morocco plaise and emma watson is my hero tnx
It`s perfect.isn`t it?
Nicholas Hooper’s score’s were absolutely abysmal. He completely abandoned any themes that were created for the series. nothing but drab background music. At least Desplat uses Hedwig’s Theme.
Hooper used Hedwig’s theme in OOTP and HBP
I remember Hooper using the theme for the opening title sequence of OOTP. I don’t remember it being incorporated anywhere else. Although I’ve only seen the films, I’ve never owned the soundtracks. Can’t say i’m a Hooper fan.
desplat is boring
The Hedwig’s theme is very nice.but desplat didn’t use this.
Link is dead, can you fix it, please? Thanks anyway! ^_^
Done
If I come out of a movie and can’t remember a single note of the music, I usually don’t bother getting the soundtrack. After reading the conversation above, I listened to the Nicholas Hooper scores for Harry Potter. I have to agree with Sickboy – it’s just wallpaper. The only track in The Half Blood Prince that was in any way interesting was Ron’s Victory. Everything else was so drab.
What I can’t understand is why no one is saying that the John William’s score is far superior. He invented incredibly memorable themes and music that enhanced what was on screen (like Buckbeak’s Flight in the Prisoner of Azkaban)
Listen again to any of the tracks from the first film (especially Harry’s Wondrous World and Hedwig’s Theme) and try to find a track from the Nicholas Hooper scores that can match that… Go ahead, I’d love to hear what can top those for emotion, colour, excitement and depth.
In fairness, the score for The Order of the Phoenix is much more entertaining than The Half Blood Prince and Ubridge’s theme is quite good but I still feel that it doesn’t measure up to the John Williams scores.
Could you please reupload hotlink?
Thanks a lot for your hard work
hello link’s dead.
can you reupload? appreciate it lots!
