It’s obvious that Diznee didn’t want to spend the same amount of expenses as for it’s animated productions, and this includes the soundtrack. I believe “Crater” could have been an iconic teen adventure movie if it was made back in the 80s, also the utter lack of caring for a minimum of space-facts could have been excused 40 years ago – and the music would have been less easily forgettable, too.
