Thank you so R! Cheers
Can someone kindly explain what “Recreated Theatrical Version” means?
Recreated: that it was made again
Theatrical: that it was how it was released in theaters
Version: a version of something.
Means someone recreated the soundtrack how it appears on the movie released in theaters in 1979
A perfectly legitimate question that didn’t require snark to answer.
Don’t get triggered dude. Why so sensitive?
Ghew – think it’s basically a rip of the isolated score from bluray – or maybe one disc from the Memory Records bootleg?
In case anyone is wondering, the last track is Howard Hanson’s Symphony #2, AKA his “Romantic Symphony”. Highly recommended!
Hopefully included is the music from Goldsmith “Freud” which was used in the film when Kane is brought back onto the ship with the face-hugger and acid drips through the hull of the ship. The music from Freud is also used again for the scene where Dallas is moving through the air vents looking for the alien. There is a total of about 15-min of music from the score to Freud in the film Alien (Goldsmith was pissed!)
FREUD (4 tracks used in ALIEN)
1. Main Title
2. Charcot’s Show
3. Desperate Case
4. The First Step
I had no idea some of the music in Alien was re-used. I’m downloading Freud now to give it a listen, I’m always keen to hear a new Goldsmith score. This could explain why the air vent music is not the same in any of the versions of the Alien score I have.
Anyone else think the cover artwork looks like lots of little eggs in a cinema watching a Big Egg on screen?
theyve attended an empowerment seminar, but clearly one or two are continuing their own conversation andwon’t reap the benefit. it”ll be ok as long as there’s a pamphlet.
