I really like the composition, the ideas, the tunes and melodies of the soundtracks for “Sea of Stars”, but too often I’ve got the impression that it was made on an old synthie-keyboard at home with all that “cheap” sounds (particularly in the action sequences). Well, maybe the bleak retro midi-sounds in many tracks are fully intended, but it’s also quite annoying. Whatever, the OSTs for Sea of Stars are not a common mass produced soundware, so worth to give it a listening.
