The 2 hour movie is too short to accurately display the actors’ and director’s outstanding performance justice, but the complete 5 hour mini series is a masterpiece and one of the best war pictures of all time.
This is the original soundtrack from 1985 in best quality available. Klaus Doldinger delivered some iconic compositions in the 1980ies, particularly for the german version of “Neverending Story” and “Das Boot” (and yes, the tv-series is one of the most accurate and thrilling pictures of U-Boat-War in WWII, perfectly rendered with Doldingers theme.)
