Its funny that Sinead O’Connor’s “I Want Your Hands On Me,” which features more prominently in the film (during Debbie’s death scene) than most songs on this soundtrack, is left off. BIzarre.
This isn’t the official release as the real track 1 is missing (‘Nightmare’ by Tuesday Knight) which opens the film.
But thank you as I think there are a couple of tracks here that aren’t on the release.
P.S. Sinead O’Connors track WAS on the original release.
Em, you’re confused, this IS the official release. Maybe some b**tleg versions have “Nightmare” on it (which has NEVER been released officially) and “I Want Your Hands On Me”. Neither were on the original LP or CD. I know, I own it.
Pete! Same here 🙂

Tuesday Knight’s song and Sinead O’Connor’s song were never part of any soundtrack. This is the right version, nothing is missing. One can find O’Connor’s song elsewhere and add it as a bonus track, I guess, but it seems that Tuesday Knight’s song was never released anywhere at all, and only exists in the movie.
from Wikipedia
“Due to licensing issues, the song did not originally receive an official single release or appear on the original soundtrack for the film, and Knight was never compensated for her contribution. Aside from the film, the song wasn’t publicly accessible for years. An audio recording was later ripped from the film and featured on Knight’s 2012 compilation album, Faith, the song’s first official release.
In 2015, it was announced that the song had been remastered, remixed, and rerecorded, and is expected to receive an official extended play CD and digital download release before the end of the year. The album is produced by Tuesday Knight, Michael Perez and is designed by Dakota Thomas.”
Thank you, Tommy, that’s an update I was unaware of. But as for this 1988 soundtrack release on this download page, my statement still stands about those two songs not originally being included 🙂
Tommy, I did some more digging, and it looks like the release won’t happen after all. On Tuesday Knight’s Kickstarter page, the project has been canceled due to a lack of funds.
“Funding for this project was canceled by the project creator on March 22, 2015.”
One can find the 2 minutes and 40 seconds long “stuido version” on YouTube, but that honestly just seems like it’s an adio rip from the movie where they managed to remove the swooshing sound effects when the title appears on screen.
OJTheViking, Boo! Sadness 🙁
I just bought the vinyl and was shocked to find out Tuesday Knight’s song wasn’t on, reading comments above It makes sense, wonder why Dramarama Anything Anything is also missing from here and Sinead OConnor!
Tuesday Knights song “Nightmare” was released late 2016 and is available on iTunes
Please re-upload…
Any chance of a FLAC version of this?
Thanks.
Also noticeable by it’s absence is “Are You Ready For Freddy” by the Fat Boys.
>_>
No Dramarama or Sinead O’Connor? Those are my favorite tracks from the movie!
Also, I should say how much I appreciate all these uploads.
I can’t thank the uploader enough, really
