First off, thank you for uploading this beautiful soundtrack by the Maestro Jerry Goldsmith. For many years, I had to suffice with the original, limited-quality, mixed-up album, and I had been looking forward for so long for a definitive release. Well, my wait is over; thank you.
That said, I could not help but notice an annoying and constant electronic pitch or buzz in the background of the first 2 tracks, especially in “Main Titles”. Furthermore, the “white noise” (what I would call that constant noise usually heard in audio cassette tapes) is pretty prominent on most of the tracks. Is this how it plays off the disc, or could it be a side effect of the upload? If it’s not from the source (the disc), could you re-rip this soundtrack and re-upload it? I would be much obliged.

Replying to a year+ old comment but the problem’s inherent in the recordings. The musical master elements for NIMH vanished eons ago so they had to dub a first-generation copy for this expanded release. The old CD had analog hiss too – and it was also annoyingly muffled and stagnant. The clarity’s leaps and bounds better on this release.
