Thank you so! Cheers
Thank you
Gracias por compartirla.
I’ve never been able to determine what “Trailer Music” is. Can someone please enlighten me concerning the history and purpose of these releases. Is this music actually used in theatrical trailers? If so, how are we supposed to know which film trailer these tracks were included in? If they are not necessarily used in trailers, how are these considered soundtracks? I see these pop up every once in a while and would love to better understand how these releases come about and how to know what trailers used each track. Thanks for your help!
They are made as a catalogue for the powers at be to use for trailers, if they so desire. Some are, most obviously won’t be. Other albums are simply made to sound like they’d fit with trailers & have the same vibe.
This site doesn’t strictly abide by what is & isn’t a OST, per se, but given their potential & the fact they sound like soundtracks, I suppose is why they’re uploaded here. I, for one, appreciate the fact.
Thanks for the thorough explanation Fred. I’ve listened to some in the past and have enjoyed them (this one included). It was always a bit frustrating that the names of the movies never accompanied the song track listings, but that makes sense now knowing that these are made on spec and the music not always used.
I’ve wondered about this for years, so thanks again for the explanation.
Cheers.
Interesting that the songs are in 2 versions, a female voice, and a male, this should be an inspiration for others. Otherwise the music is just meh. Pointless, unmelodic, every song like the one before, I don’t know what there is gothic or dark. Who likes the substandard sound-machine cr@p on hit radio stations will do with this, too.
