I think one of the worst (least fortunate) aspect of the ’95 and ’97 Batman movies’ being not so… popular, is that a lot of people think they (especially B&R) are poop and dismiss them all together. I cannot tell you how amazing the scores are though; I admire Goldenthal’s take and his enormous and gothic sound. Funny enough when I try to think of details in orchestration and ideas, like low low low end woodwinds and crazy approach, I realise I could be just as well talking about Elfman’s sound. Thanks for the share, Admin and Jordan!
Holy Fuck, what a score!! I appreciate this release even more than the drawn out La-La Land Records release. Thoughtful, concise and highly imaginative. A testimony to what a gifted composer Goldenthal is. This score is also a heartfelt homage to Elfman’s own Batman.
