Hi, guys. Sorry. Is this the official score of the John Ford´s movie because according the credit of the movies and the American Film Institute data the composers were another? I´m really interested, because we have added this film in the John Ford profile and the film is scored for another composers, according our information. It could be wrong, maybe. Could you clarify it? Thanks in advance for the answer.
To JAVI – According to the IMDb credits, the “original” music compositions were by an uncredited Gerard Carbonara. The musical direction (presumably conductor) was Boris Moross. The score itself was “adapted” by half a dozen uncredited composers “based on American folk songs.”
These are the names listed: Louis Gruenberg … musical score adaptation: based on American folk songs Richard Hageman … musical score adaptation: based on American folk songs W. Franke Harling … musical score adaptation: based on American folk songs (as Franke Harling) John Leipold … musical score adaptation: based on American folk songs Boris Morros … musical director Leo Shuken … musical score adaptation: based on American folk songs Danny Borzage … musician: accordion
