why am i suddenly encountering this small but annoying sentence…’This file is available only to premium users!’ This used to be one of my favourite sites which i visited daily. Now you’re taking all the fun out of illegal downloading. R.I.P. Download Soundtracks, thx for the good times. xx

@DD Thx for your feed bk, ive tried both links many times. The first one is coercing me to become a premium user, the second link makes me wait 95 seconds only to either give me a blank page or just floods my screen with adverts in russian. Anymore ideas?? I never used to have this problem, a smooth transition everytime

Can’t use turbo in my country, and Asfile sends me straight to requesting premium code.
Guess I’m only going to be able to use this site to see what’s out now.

Yeah- same problem as DD. Would be nice if you would use service that not a problem or force premium membership

asfile links from a few days ago (e.g. moonrise kingdom) do not have the “force premium” stuff. guess it’s files settings then.

I think I’ve come to a crossroads in downloading soundtracks. I’ve followed this movie’s production for a year and just got the Bluray. This movie was independently financed and produced by the composer himself and Tom Lowe directed, shot, and edited the whole thing. They poured everything they have into this production. I will not snag this one for free. I encourage everyone to buy this one from iTunes or order it from Timescapes.org–you will NOT be disappointed. As an independent filmmaker his movie is an inspiration. Shame on you for even offering this soundtrack as a free download.

Those links ask you for a premium account or want to download an .exe file, which is never wise from file sharing sites. Avoid.
To John Brune, you make me think of people in glass houses throwing stones.

Yeah I know but like I said I’ve reached a crossroads. I didn’t claim to be perfect. If I can’t support a couple of independent artists by coughing up some dough every once in awhile then I don’t know what to make of any of this shit.

This post seems to have mutated into the rights & wrongs of illicit downloading. I respect your views John Brune & you’ll be pleased to learn i purchased this album from the main site. Ive never even heard of this artist before, but after youtubing i decided it was worth the purchase. If I like what i hear i do buy, im not entirely tight with my money. But it is sad to see download soundtracks turn into an itunes status.

As much as I understand those without the necessary money to buy scores, I also understand John Brune. At least independent artists should get their share for their work.
